Champagne Bruno & Grégoire Perseval: A Taste of Tradition

Located on the picturesque hills of Sacy, just 15 km southeast of Reims, Champagne Bruno & Grégoire Perseval is a quintessential small winery that honors the rich winemaking traditions of Old World France. Spanning over 2.5 hectares, this family-owned estate cultivates three classic Champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. This focused selection allows the winemaker to craft exceptional wines that reflect the Premier Cru quality of the region.

Crafting Exquisite Bubbles

In France, sparkling wine is considered an art form, and the creations of Bruno Perseval are no exception. The winemakers skillfully blend the three grape varieties in varying proportions and employ diverse vinification techniques, resulting in six distinct sparkling wines. For instance, the Grande Cuvée, composed of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, is aged for a minimum of 60 months (5 years). Wine enthusiasts can find a Champagne to suit their palate, including Blanc de Blanc, Blanc de Noirs, Cuvée Spéciale Noir et Blanc, Brut Rosé, and Brut Classic.

A Winery with Accolades

Champagne Bruno & Grégoire Perseval is proud to be recognized as a Vigneron Indépendant, a designation that signifies quality and authenticity. The winery has received prestigious awards, including a Gold medal at the “Effervescents du Monde 2013” international competition and a Silver medal at the “Mondial des Pinots 2014,” which celebrates wines made from Pinot grapes. These accolades reflect the dedication and craftsmanship that go into every bottle.

The Perseval family has been in Sacy since 1625, the last years of known archives. At the time, they were farmers and breeders. Today, winegrowers, Grégoire, Bruno's grandson, has taken up the torch and completed training courses in regions other than Champagne and he applies these techniques to the wine he produces. Technique + passion produce elegant, fine, refined champagnes and all at reasonable prices. Perseval champagne, so good!
