A Family Legacy of Passion & Tradition

The history of the Champagne Devavry house is rooted in an enduring passion passed down through five generations of passionate winegrowers. Established in Champillon—just a few kilometers north of Épernay in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne—the estate proudly blends time-honored traditional practices with modern viticultural techniques to ensure remarkable consistency and high quality across every single bottle.

An Exceptional Mosaic of Terroirs

The family estate spans roughly 10 hectares across some of the finest Premier Cru and Grand Cru terroirs in the Champagne region, including carefully tended plots in Champillon, Hautvillers (the historic village of Dom Pérignon), Romery, Sermiers, and Sézanne. The region's distinct limestone and chalky soils play a vital role in their success, naturally retaining perfect moisture levels and imparting a vibrant, signature mineral freshness and refined acidity to the vines.

Meticulous Craftsmanship & Expressive Cuvées

With a meticulous production of approximately 70,000 to 80,000 bottles per year, the winery systematically blocks malolactic fermentation across its harvest to preserve the pure, crisp fruit profiles of its grapes. The estate skillfully nurtures all three traditional varieties: elegant, fresh Chardonnay; robust, structured Pinot Noir; and expressive Pinot Meunier. Their expertise shines through a diverse range of complex cuvées, including the delicate Blanc de Blancs, the richly textured Brut Grand Cru (100% Pinot Noir), the perfectly balanced, oak-aged Cuvée Achille, and their vibrant, creamy Rosé expressions.
