Champagne Louis Balincourt

Very warm welcome. We were lucky enough to enjoy a private guided tour of the chalk pits and champagne cellars. The place is grandiose, magnificent and perfectly rehabilitated while respecting the history of the place. Our guide was interesting and friendly. We had a great time. My other half will remember this surprising and original visit to the Balincourt cellars for her birthday.

A friendly place full of stories, I had the pleasure of attending an event and I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend this gem!! A plus for their vintages and the super pleasant staff!

We came yesterday for the visit and we really enjoyed it and the tasting, we learned a lot about manufacturing and the Crayères! We loved it 🥰 And the champagne was delicious Thanks for your time Erik

We went there with my colleagues for our first CSE outing and it was very interesting. The guide is passionate, you can feel it and the explanations are clear and well received by everyone. The reception rooms have been well renovated and offer a beautiful and elegant venue. Finally, the chalk pits are magnificent, I have not seen them so big, I am delighted with this outing and this new discovery in Chalonnaise!

We took a very informative and very interesting tour of the caves and how champagne is actually made. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing his information on how champagne is produced. We were shown all the necessary tools and had a very exciting tour of the caves in which champagne is stored. The caves were made more than 2000 years ago by Roman slaves. The chalkstone was then needed to build houses for the Romans. We can highly recommend this tour. At the end we bought several bottle of champagne and Balincourt produces really great champagne. We recommend both tour and champagne without reservations. Truly a remarkable experience.
