Exceptional Blanc de Blancs from the Côte des Blancs
A Family Winery in the Côte des Blancs
Champagne Chapuy is nestled in the Oger region of the renowned Côte des Blancs, home to six Grand Crus vineyards. This family-owned estate spans eight hectares of vines, with a rich history dating back to the French Revolution when their ancestor served as the region’s mayor.
Generations of Winemaking Tradition
With over a century of winemaking heritage, Champagne Chapuy was officially established by Serge Chapuy in 1952. His son, Arnold, took the reins in 1981, and in 2003, his daughter Elodie joined the family business. Today, the winery is proudly managed by the third generation of women, with Aurore, the youngest daughter, leading the winemaking and vineyard management since 2008.
Most of their Champagnes undergo malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with secondary fermentation beginning about eight months post-harvest. Champagne Chapuy is known for producing high-quality Champagnes at accessible prices for wine enthusiasts around the globe.
Commitment to Sustainable Practices
The estate primarily cultivates Chardonnay in the Côte des Blancs, crafting exquisite Blanc de Blancs Champagne. Additionally, vineyards in the Coteaux Sud de Epernay feature Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. Champagne Chapuy holds a Level 3 environmental certification, reflecting their commitment to organic farming methods that promote ecological health and the vitality of their vines.
