Amazing story of Champagne Gruet in Bethon

Champagne Gruet and the Côte des Bar have been part of history for a few hundred years. This historic sector of Champagne is home to many charming villages. It is in this last village that the Gruet Family has been anchored since 1670. Their lasting presence is still illustrated today with named locations such as “Bas Gruet” and “Sur-Gruet” in the surrounding communities. The Winemakers of the Gruet Family have passed on their knowledge from generation to generation. This succession found its fulfillment when Claude Gruet marketed his first cuvées in 1975. Today, Claude Gruet has passed on this trade to their son, Pierre-Charles Gruet.
