At Château Arton, every step of the winemaking process takes place on-site. Nestled in the picturesque Gers countryside, this family-owned vineyard spans 80 hectares within the unique terroir of Haut-Armagnac. Here, the transformation from vine to wine, and from wine to Armagnac, is a labor of love.
Currently undergoing biodynamic conversion, Château Arton produces a variety of cuvées in the three colors of IGP Côtes de Gascogne. The estate is also known for its rare Haut-Armagnac AOC, which includes the Fine Blanche®, a distinguished category that was recognized in 2005. This commitment to quality and tradition makes Château Arton a notable destination for wine enthusiasts.

The magic of our terroirs! We visited Arton as a family. What a welcome and what an experience!!! The property is magnificent and we were wonderfully welcomed by the family who owns the property. Their white wine is delicious and of course their exceptionally fine white Armagnac. We learned a lot about the history and the unique process of making Armagnac. Bravo for this agricultural adventure and thank you for bringing the magic of our terroirs to life!

The setting is magnificent, with vineyards as far as the eye can see and an authentic atmosphere that exudes tradition and know-how. The Armagnacs on offer are simply exceptional. Each vintage tells a story and tasting is a true sensory journey. The aromas are rich and complex, with a finesse that testifies to quality craftsmanship. The estate's staff are not only passionate about their profession, but also extremely competent and attentive. The explanations of the distillation and aging process were clear and engaging, which made the visit even more enriching. We did a two-hour tour with wine tasting. Very interesting visit and explanations about the history of the estate and the different Armagnacs. Tour of the cellars and detailed explanations. A great time with a very welcoming, smiling and pleasant guide and owner of the place! A truly timeless moment that we enjoyed very much. We would love to come back!
