Château Astros: A Timeless Winery in Provence

Beautiful domain, excellent guide and super tasty wine!

Such a beautiful estate with lots of history. We had an amazing guide and tasted some great wines!

A very interesting guided tour in a 4x4. Our guide Victoria explained the history of the estate very well, as well as the different stages of winemaking. A must do if you are passing through the region.

Since we already knew the Rosé Amour, we decided to drive to Château d'Astros on the way back from our vacation on the Cd'A. After a wine tasting hosted by the friendly Claudia and buying three different varieties, we strolled around the wonderful property. In the future, we will order directly from the winery and have the delicacies sent to our home. Merci à bientôt Ute & Christoph

Stunning Château with a lovely shop and tasting room (incl. outside terrace). We arrived a bit early for a tasting but we're shown a lovely 30 min woodland trail around the grounds and edge of the vineyard, a great way to build up a thirst. Staff were fantastic, fluent English and German spoken, and they're hugely knowledgeable and passionate about the wine. We really enjoyed our tasting of about 10 wines and their fresh apple juice.

We drove past spontaneously and went for a tasting with Claudia, she was super nice and accommodating and speaks several languages. The wines are also highly recommended. I can recommend a visit to everyone and would love to come back :-)

Very nice experience and very nice discovery during the guinguette evening. The parking lot is large, the area is magnificent, the atmosphere was there. The music not too loud to talk was good, people were dancing, the food trucks super good! I will come back with pleasure to do parties here in the summer 🌞

Victoria was our lovely guide for our tour. She spoke good English and she was really knowledgeable and helpful. She elevated our experience overall. We learned a lot about history in general, the history of the vineyard and their grapes. We had booked the The Great Escape (4x4 + open air wine tasting - 2h15) experience, but due to the windy weather, we received an email well in advance in order to do the wine tasting indoors and get a refund instead. Really responsive and we were happy with the place and the wine tasting in the end. They also sell some goodies in addition to wine. I'd gladly go back!

My God, how sweet it is to walk through the orchards. How good it is to taste their good wines. Only good organic products that make the difference. So from September to October, apple picking is open to the public. An extraordinary day to do with the family.

Very nice chateau with good tasting. We had a bit of a sense it was mass market as there were too many people. So the tasting was rather soul-less. Plus the castle is closed. Though on the pictures you can definitely see photos from this castle. A tiny bit disappointing

Great for apple picking, nice walk around the grounds. Wine and other goods available for purchase. Parking can be difficult.
