Château de Flaugergues Estate was established in the late 17th century and is located in the heart of a rural estate with beautiful gardens surrounding the winery. In the eighteenth century, it was the summer residence to many Nobles of Montpellier. Château de Flaugergues has been passed down from generation to generation, still reflecting the chic lifestyle of Montpellier Nobles.
Stunning Gardens Around the Castle of Château de Flaugergues
The Château de Flaugergues covers an area of 25 hectares and it locates in the heart of AOC Languedoc. This appellation situated on the La Mejanelle terroir in the Montpellier Gres climatic zone. The terroir and a Mediterranean climate are good for balanced winemaking. The castle has a beautiful green garden that covers an area of around four hectares, and in addition, the park has a Roman villa at its bottom. If you come to the winery, you can take a stroll in the garden and enjoy this beautiful nature around. Then, you will discover a collection of classic Italian, romantic and Mediterranean citrus, bamboo and palm trees. Besides, their orangery and masterful alley are stunning and really worth to visit.
