Experience the charm of a luxurious wine estate in one of the world's most captivating wine regions.

A Rich History of Château Les Carrasses

Château Les Carrasses boasts a storied history dating back to 1886. Originally envisioned by the de-Zleivourt family, the estate was brought to life by Bordeaux architect Louis-Michel Garros. Over the years, the winery has faced numerous challenges, including the trials of the 20th century, two world wars, and the evolving landscape of modern winemaking. Despite these hurdles, the estate remained in the de-Zleivourt family until 2008, when it was acquired by Karl O’Hanlon and Anita Forte, who continue to honor its legacy.

Always a real pleasure to return to Château Les Carasses with my partner and/or family. We have already eaten several times and this year we visited the Christmas market (magnificent).

Wonderful, luxurious, and relaxing stay! Attentive and helpful staff. Quiet area where you can just spend the day amongst the small farm, wine estate, pool, restaurant/bar, picnic, table tennis, biking, etc. All exceeded our expectations with the additional surprising touch that made the stay even more enjoyable. We spoke mostly in French, but they communicate in English fluently. Driving there - enter from D37 where there are posted hotel signs. Don't just follow the GPS.
