The history of Château de Marmorières dates back to 1826 when Barthélémi François de Raymond purchased the winery. He then built the castle inspired from the architecture of the 18th century. The vineyard of Château de Marmorières covers an area of 350 hectares, it is the largest vineyard of La Clape Cru.

The vineyard of Château de Marmorières is located in the heart of the old “Lakes Island”, it has the finest soil to produce wines. The clay-limestone soils allow reaching a perfect aromatic ripeness with the perfect vines. The wines of Château de Marmorières are aromatic, fine and structured, resulting from the terroir, the maritime climate and the mild temperature. Some of their famous red wines are Cuvée Les Amandiers, Marquis de Raymond and Commanderie de Saint Pierre la Garrigue. Their white wines are a combination of aromatic and sweet blends.
