The Ancient History of Château Guilhem
Château Guilhem, in the same family for six generations, is located in the heart of the village of Malviès near Carcassonne, facing the Pyrenees. Vineyards have always surrounded it. It was built in the eighteenth century in Directoire style on the site of a Gallo Roman city. Bertrand Gourdou took over the family estate in 2004, succeeding his mother, Brigitte Gourdou-Guilhem.
