Balance and purity two best describe the range of wines at Château La Baronne.
High Quality Organic Wines from Languedoc-Roussilon
The Lignères family is extremely passionate about producing wines typically for the Languedoc-Roussilon area. They combine the typicality of the grapes and the ground’s natural characteristics to produce organic and tasty wines. The winery produces excellent quality wines primarily from the Carignan variety of grapes. The families’ ties to the winery business date back to the 16th century. However, the actual story started in 1957 when André and Suzette Lignères purchased the estate. As a matter of fact, Andre’s parents already had vineyards in Moux and Fontcouverte villages.
Unique Barrel Racking System
The winery uses a unique barrel racking system to ease the weekly process to improve the stability of the wine. In fact, a huge steel frame holds each barrel that looks like wine bottles standing on a table.
