Château Pech d'André has been a cherished family estate since 1701, located in the heart of the Languedoc-Roussillon region. This winery specializes in crafting a variety of elegant, non-wooded wines from traditional and heritage grape varieties. The estate proudly produces wines under the IGP Pays d'Hérault and AOP Minervois (or AOP Languedoc) appellations, showcasing the unique terroir of the area.

An Agroecological Domain

Spanning over 30 hectares, Château Pech d'André embraces an agroecological approach that fosters biodiversity and maintains the natural balance of the environment. The vineyard features goblet-pruned vines, small plots, natural wooded areas, ponds, streams, and meadows, creating a harmonious ecosystem. Philippe, the estate's owner, actively promotes peasant agroecology in the region and serves as president of the Chemin Cueillant non-profit organization, which supports sustainable farming practices.

Local, Organic, and Natural Wines

At Château Pech d'André, the focus is on producing wines that authentically express the character of each grape variety. The winemaking process avoids over-ripening, carbonic maceration, and barrel aging, while limiting inputs to ensure purity. As proud members of the Natural Wines Defense Association (Syndicat de Défense des Vins Naturels), the estate is committed to crafting local, organic, and natural wines that reflect the essence of the Languedoc region.
