The company was founded in 1957 by grandfather Ferruccio and father Fulvio. In 1997, I decided, together with my family, to manage and improve the business. In 2000, we began planting new vineyards, in 2001 we began construction of the new cellar, and in 2020 we added additional spaces to the cellar. Today, we have a tasting room where we pair our wines with local dishes freshly prepared in our fully equipped kitchen, involving customers in every phase of production, from the vineyard to the bottle ready for sale.

The day was had the wine tasting It was raining the host brought an umbrella to my car to walk me inside. That is the type of personal experience this wine tasting was. Small family owned business, wonderful Brunello, the 2017 was spectacular!!!! The food paring was excellent, form local farms cheeses & meats. In addition the olive oil was delicious!!! Thanks for a wonderful experience. Tip use google maps or wazes.

What a wonderful place! Upon a local’s recommendation we reached out for a wine tasting by text at this family-run vineyard and were accepted the same day. Follow google maps directions and continue on the narrow gravel road - it will lead to several wineries. Marco was standing outside waiting for us when we arrived! He had finished work in the fields early to give a guided tour of the vineyard and cellar, noting the whole grape to glass process and could not have been more kind and generous with his time (Note he very kindly offered the tour in English for us). After this we enjoyed a wine tasting including their delicious brunello, in addition to their own olive oil. Highly recommend prioritizing this wine tasting, it is well worth it to see such an obviously passionate group of people taking such care in their craft in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Fantastic contact! We enjoyed a superb Brunello at a restaurant. The winery staff contacted us via WhatsApp and we were able to spontaneously visit the winery and buy some wine, even though they were officially closed. Thanks again! We'll definitely be back for another tasting :)

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of visiting the enchanting Citille di Sopra estate for the second time, which owner Fabio cultivates with extraordinary dedication. I was able to enjoy his excellent wine, accompanied by a generous selection of first-class dishes, prepared with great care. Fabio's winery is far more than a simple farm, and his wine is far more than just Brunello. It offers a true sensory experience, allowing one to transcend time and space for an afternoon, enchanted by the beauty of the place and the magic of the fruits of his land.
