It was a wonderful experience in a magical place. Marco, our Spanish-speaking guide, was very kind. A spectacular hacienda and world-class wine.

What a wonderful place! Upon a local’s recommendation we reached out for a wine tasting by text at this family-run vineyard and were accepted the same day. Follow google maps directions and continue on the narrow gravel road - it will lead to several wineries. Marco was standing outside waiting for us when we arrived! He had finished work in the fields early to give a guided tour of the vineyard and cellar, noting the whole grape to glass process and could not have been more kind and generous with his time (Note he very kindly offered the tour in English for us). After this we enjoyed a wine tasting including their delicious brunello, in addition to their own olive oil. Highly recommend prioritizing this wine tasting, it is well worth it to see such an obviously passionate group of people taking such care in their craft in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of visiting the enchanting Citille di Sopra estate for the second time, which owner Fabio cultivates with extraordinary dedication. I was able to enjoy his excellent wine, accompanied by a generous selection of first-class dishes, prepared with great care. Fabio's winery is far more than a simple farm, and his wine is far more than just Brunello. It offers a true sensory experience, allowing one to transcend time and space for an afternoon, enchanted by the beauty of the place and the magic of the fruits of his land.

The day was had the wine tasting It was raining the host brought an umbrella to my car to walk me inside. That is the type of personal experience this wine tasting was. Small family owned business, wonderful Brunello, the 2017 was spectacular!!!! The food paring was excellent, form local farms cheeses & meats. In addition the olive oil was delicious!!! Superb tour of the vineyards and wine cellar. Marco gave us detailed explanations about the Brunello production processes and conveyed Fabio's passion for wine. The tasting was of high quality. The canapés, cheeses, and charcuterie were delicious.

Fabio showed us his process, fixed us a gorgeous salami and cheese board, and let us taste his beautiful wines! He has made everything by hand and his hospitality shines through. Yesterday afternoon we visited Fabio's winery with a fantastic guide who gave us a fascinating insight into winemaking. Following the tour, we were treated to a tasting of all the wines, accompanied by delicious platters of cheese, cured meats, and game. I would like to sincerely thank Fabio for this wonderful experience and highly recommend it to everyone.

We spent a wonderful afternoon with Fabio and Marco. They showed us around the winery and explained the process of making their wine, from growing the grapes to selling it. We then moved to a room with windows offering a breathtaking view of the vineyards and enjoyed a delicious wine and food tasting, all plentiful and of the highest quality. Fabio and Marco were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and shared their passion with us. Highly recommended!

A family-run winery nestled in a picturesque landscape. We were welcomed by Patrizia, who showed us around the cellar and explained with great passion the winemaking process, from harvest to bottling, answering our many questions thoroughly. We had the pleasure of tasting the excellent red wines this winery produces and sells worldwide. We also recommend trying their olive oil and grappa.
