Welcome to Clos de l’Amandaie

Located just 25 kilometers northwest of Montpellier in the charming town of Aumelas, Clos de l’Amandaie is a family-owned winery nestled on the hillside. The Peytavy family has been dedicated to winemaking for generations, blending tradition with modern techniques. In 2002, Philippe and his wife, Stephanie, took the helm, continuing the legacy of quality and innovation.

The Unique Terroir of Clos de l’Amandaie

Set in the cooler region of the Grès de Montpellier appellation, the vineyards benefit from a favorable climate. Positioned mainly on the northern slopes of the Aumelas plateau, the higher altitude and cool nights allow for a gradual ripening of the grapes. This results in wines that are aromatic and refined. The estate cultivates a select range of grape varieties, including Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan, Roussanne, and Vermentino.

A Memorable Wine Experience Awaits

At Clos de l’Amandaie, guests can enjoy a serene atmosphere with air-conditioned rooms available for private dinners, seminars, and banquets, accommodating up to 100 people. The wooden terrace offers a perfect setting to share wines and enjoy the stunning surroundings. Ample parking is available for all visitors. We invite you to visit the estate, taste our wines, and appreciate the beauty of Clos de l’Amandaie.

I recommend 200%, the place is just magnificent. No time limit for the music, it just has to be inside the room. Everything went really well. The owner was very understanding on Friday evening. We were late in setting up the room, he was able to wait before setting the alarm.

Had an excellent tasting in August and eventually got 4 bottles of Les Menades shipped to us in (PLG) this Thanksgiving🗽🥂 3 key ingredients: Apricot Almond Honey The finish is unique due to the rocky region.

We had the pleasure of carrying out several private (wedding, baptism, birthday, etc.) and professional (seminar, meeting, training, conference, team building, Christmas tree) services at Clos de L'Amandaie, located in Aumelas , between Clermont l'Hérault and Montpellier, and easily accessible thanks to its proximity to the A9 motorway. This exceptional wine estate offers a natural and refined setting, ideal for organizing memorable events in a serene and picturesque environment. Le Clos de L'Amandaie seduces with its blend of authentic charm and modern elegance. With its lush vines, its impeccably landscaped outdoor spaces, and its reception rooms offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area, this place can host various events, whether private or professional. We particularly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere of the estate and the quality of the infrastructure, which perfectly supported our services while guaranteeing optimal comfort for our teams. The Clos de L'Amandaie team demonstrated great professionalism, friendliness and particular attention to detail. Their responsiveness and support throughout the event contributed to a flawless organization, thus offering a pleasant and fluid experience to our guests. We highly recommend Clos de L'Amandaie for any type of event, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with you in your enchanting setting! The Nomad Workshop

Our wedding venue. Beautiful view of the scrubland, surrounded by vineyards, very quiet. The room was perfectly suited to our needs: neither too big nor too small. The wines were also very good. Air-conditioned room. Reasonable price. Only downsides: dirty toilets upon our arrival and the cleaning quote went from €100 to €200 in 2 weeks, arguing a normal increase in the cost of living.... Well, a quote is used to calculate that, isn't it? And a quote is respected. Why did the quote double in such a short time? I would like, Mr. Peytavy, for my salary to double in 2 weeks too and I wouldn't be the only one to be more than happy about it 😉
