Col Di Lamo is a charming winery located in the picturesque region of Montalcino, Tuscany, covering eight hectares of lush vineyards. Owned by Giovanna Neri, her passion for winemaking was inspired by her father. With a law degree and a deep love for wine, Giovanna has become one of the most respected winemakers in the area. Each bottle reflects her nurturing spirit, akin to a mother’s love for her child. This unique approach to winemaking is evident in every sip. The winery's label features a delicate profile of a woman’s face, with warm orange and green hues, symbolizing the feminine essence that Giovanna brings to her wines.

The Spectacular Plots of the Winery

Col Di Lamo consists of three distinct vineyard plots, each contributing to the winery's exceptional offerings. The Colombaio vineyard spans 1.5 hectares, dedicated to red grape varieties. The Diletta vineyard, named after Giovanna's daughter, covers approximately 2 hectares. Lastly, the Lamo vineyard is where the renowned Brunello di Montalcino is crafted. All vineyards are cultivated using traditional, sustainable methods, with hoeing performed twice a year and treatments limited to natural substances like sulfur and copper. This commitment to quality ensures that every bottle of Col Di Lamo wine is a true reflection of the land and its heritage.

Visited today, thanks to Giovanna Neri for the exquisite welcome, the chat about the wine and the tasting, her Brunellis were excellent, with a special note of merit for the 2013 and 2019 vintages which in my opinion have a great future ahead!

Wonderful experience! The cellar, located in the middle of a fabulous panorama, already lays the foundations for an excellent tasting.
