Three Generations of Winemaking Excellence

Established in 1957 by Marco Costalunga, Costalungavini is a family-owned winery now run by the third and fourth generations of passionate winemakers. Located in Castegnero, this winery has continually evolved, enhancing both its winemaking techniques and the warm hospitality offered to visitors. Nestled amidst the stunning landscapes of the Berici Hills, Costalungavini provides a picturesque setting for wine lovers and travelers alike.

From Vineyard to Glass

The winery's villa, cellar, and vineyards sit at the foot of the Berici Hills, in a natural amphitheater that is perfect for cultivating vines and olive trees. Costalungavini specializes in the renowned “Wines of Palladio,” producing DOC Colli Berici wines alongside innovative selections that showcase the unique characteristics of the region. The quality and flavor of the grapes are enhanced by the calcareous, dry slopes and favorable microclimatic conditions. The vineyard is home to a variety of grapes, including Garganega, Tai, Bianco, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Manzoni Bianco, Tai Rosso, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. Over the years, Costalungavini has earned numerous awards, solidifying its reputation in both national and international wine markets.

Yesterday we went for a tasting at this very historic winery. We really enjoyed the experience and the girl who guided us was very good and available to answer all our questions. To be repeated

A truly magical place run by a very charming and welcoming family. If you are looking for a small, beautiful vineyard you will not find a better place. If you stay in a camper car, there is good electricity connection and you will park right by the vines. They also have a small but really good wineshop. Highly recommended!

We stayed here in our van and took part in a wine tasting. We were first shown the villa and the history of the winery. Sara took a lot of time to answer all of our questions. The food with the wine suited the area and was also great. After the tasting we had the opportunity to fill our wine supply, which we of course took advantage of. We can only recommend the tasting and were happy to have booked it.

A very beautiful location! The porch of the house is enchanting especially in the evening, illuminated by rows of lights. Excellent wines. Cellar open to the public with direct sales.

Even if the weather wasn't the best, we managed to attend the entire Interludio tasting and, thanks to Sara who accompanied us with her stories and experiences, we were able to visit much of the surroundings of the farm and learn more about its history. Very good wines and a territory waiting to be discovered. An experience definitely worth repeating!
