A Legacy Since the 16th Century
Villa Dianella dates back to the late 16th century when it served as a hunting lodge for the Medici family. The name Dianella is inspired by Diana, the goddess of the hunt. Over the years, the villa has been home to notable figures, including the 18th-century poet Renato Fucini, who referenced it in his works. In the early 20th century, Francesco and Veronica Passerin d’Entrèves acquired the villa and restored it to its original charm. The vineyard produces a variety of grapes, including Sangiovese, Colorino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Orpicchio, and Malvasia Lunga del Chianti, all bottled under the Chianti designation.
Visitors can enjoy a selection of red, white, and rosé wines, along with sparkling and dessert wines.
