Experience the Unique Terroir and Exceptional Wines
Welcome to Domaine Combe Blanche
Domaine Combe Blanche has a rich history that began in 1981. Nestled on the slopes of Haut Minervois, this vineyard spans an elevation of 200 to 330 meters above sea level. Today, it covers approximately 12 hectares, featuring 6 hectares of AOC Minervois, 2 hectares of Minervois La Livinière AOC, and 4 hectares of Côtes du Brian IGP. Founded by Guy Vanlancker, a former Belgian teacher, the winery reflects his passion for crafting exceptional red wines in the heart of southern France.
The Unique Terroir of Domaine Combe Blanche
Hand-harvesting is essential for producing high-quality wines at Domaine Combe Blanche. The terroir consists of clay-limestone soils and benefits from a Mediterranean climate characterized by hot summers and low rainfall, creating ideal conditions for balanced wines. The red wines are crafted from Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan, Tempranillo, and Pinot Noir grapes, aged in vats and barrels for up to 24 months. The white wines feature a delightful blend of Viognier and Roussanne.
