The Domaine de Pajot has been linked to the Barreau family for three generations. Today, Damien and his son Clément jointly manage the vineyard located in Eauze.
Since 2001, we have opted for Organic Farming, a production method that is more respectful of our grapes, our environment, and our health. We think we are in the right direction, the abandonment of chemical fertilizers has led us to think about the fertility of the soil. It is now maintained by seedlings (beans, cereals, etc.) which will produce the organic matter necessary for the life of the soil and the supply of the vines; this increase in biodiversity is reinforced by the return of trees to young plantations: agroforestry.
We also house a herd of ewes who graze in winter in the vineyard until the beginning of its bud burst in spring. They then leave for the mountain pastures in the Pyrenees. Part of the herd will remain for eco-grazing in our hazelnut orchard. »

Exciting presentation and sale of products directly by the winegrower. A range of Pinot Noir grape varieties - unusual in the region. Very good wines and Armagnacs. And it’s organic too!
