A Winery Specialized in Single Estate Armagnacs
Perched between the scenic beauty of Bordeaux and Toulouse, Domaine Laguille is a family-run winery in the heart Bas-Armagnac, standing a few miles away from Eauze. Gers is a renowned wine region with a rich heritage and winemaking traditions, nestled in panoramic Gascony. The winery is famous for its broad range of Côtes de Gascogne wines, AOC Bas Armagnac, and AOP Floc de Gascogne wines.
Passionate History of Third Generation Winemakers
In the late 1980s, Collette and Guy Vignoli decided to purchase their own winery in the traditional alambic. They wanted every wine production phase, from vine growing to wine bottling through aging, under their supervision. The duo has constantly been working to enhance the quality of wines and activities in the cellar. Moreover, respecting the environment and saving non-renewable sources, the estate is equipped with photovoltaic panels mounted on the terrace.
Fertile Terroir of Gascony Produces the Finest AOC and AOP Wines
At Domaine Laguille, Guy and Collete grow a wide range of grapes, including Ugni Blanc, Baco, Colombard, Sauvignon, and Gros Manseng. The duo also cultivates Petit Manseng, Cabernet Sauvignon, and reserves a portion of land for Merlot. Every process, from grape harvesting, collecting bunches to winemaking, distilling, aging, and bottling, is done up the owners themselves. They use 2 to 45 years old wooden oak barrels to store and refine their Bas-Armagnacs line. They also produce Floc de Gascogne line, young wine with a fruity aroma that goes best with a meal.
