Domaine Ollier-Taillefer, A family Winery

In 1977, Nicole and Alain Ollier sold the first bottle of the Domaine Ollier-Taillefer winery. In 1982, they participated to the delimitation of the Faugères Appellation for red and rosé wines and in 2004 for white wines. Luc started working in the estate’s vineyard in 1990, and Françoise in 2002.

This winery is located in the North-East of the AOC Faugères, in the heart of the Languedoc. Domaine Ollier-Taillefer is a family estate run by the brother and sister team, Luc and Françoise Ollier. They are the fifth generation of native winemakers who have managed the winery. Both of them are now responsible for the 36 hectares of vines in the AOC Faugères area, which have been converted into organic farming since 2012. Their production averages 1,100 hectolitres per year. They bottle all the production on the property and market it solely themselves.
