Domaine Sainte Octime, Winemaking for 16 Generations

The Domaine Sainte Octime estate is based on clay and limestone foothills. It is located between Quissac and Sommieres in the Gard in the south of France. Passed from father to son for centuries, Lionel Rampon, the 16th generation, took over the estate and continued the production at Domaine Sainte Octime. The winery covers an area of 25 hectares including its vineyards and cellars. In 2014, the winery developed a reception room and the accommodation area for guests.

Domaine Sainte Octime and Their Vast List of Grape Varities

Domaine Sainte Octime creates seven different cuvées, as they grow a wide range of grape varieties including Chardonnay, Roussanne, Muscat Petit Grain, and Viognier. They also use Grenache Blanc, Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet, Mourvèdre, Nielluccio, Cinsault and Grenache Noir.
