Today established in the prestigious village of Chassagne-Montrachet, the story of the Picard family started back in 1951. At that time, the Picard family owned 2 hectares of vineyards only in the Côte Chalonnaise area. Michel Picard’s Peugeot is displayed in the hall of the domaine. It symbolizes how much has been achieved over the years through the roaming of many roads and acts as a symbol of unique and passionate entrepreneurial adventure.

The Picard winery and its family now owns 135 hectares of vineyards in Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise, including some of the most prestigious “Climats” from Chassagne-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Puligny- Montrachet, Aloxe-Corton.

The Domaine proudly locates at the foot of the Montrachet and is open for the visitors all year long. Discover on free access the magnificent 14th-century cellars which accommodate over 800 pieces of their excellent wines. Get an insight view on their winemaking methods and aging techniques during a guided tour around the winery, understand the complexity of the landscapes and soil composition during a landscape overview. Taste the wines produced at the Domaine during a commented wine tasting in the wine shop with detailed maps of Burgundy or in their private tasting room with a view on the vineyards and discover their biodynamic wines named “Au Pied du Mont Chauve”, an “Haute Couture” brand created by Francine Picard.
