The Doolhof Biodiversity Project

In the region of Wellington of South Africa, Doolhof Wine Estate have settled quite comfortably making the best use of the resources available and making sure that nature is not disturbed and imbalanced while they do so. Their 380 hectares have been utilized efficiently for vineyards , building, roads and paddocks. The winery grows Malbec, Pinotage, Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Chenin, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc on these estates. A large portion of the estates however is cleared for alien vegetation and rehabilitation.Doolhof Wine Estate is committed to saving the natural fynbos heritage on the estate.
