Magical place, great for a relaxing moment. For an evening, a weekend, a week. Very warm welcome, great food, and of course the shop on the way out.

I spent a very pleasant August weekend in this farmhouse. The right place for those who want to enjoy a relaxing weekend, between green spaces and swimming pool, and at the same time not too far from the population centers (Siena is 20 minutes by car, there are also other towns closer). Better to come by car/motorbike, there is also free parking. Excellent restaurant (when we were there it was open every evening, while only for lunch on Sundays); simple but delicious breakfast. Very courteous and helpful staff. The room we were given, "the sage tent", was spacious and cool, and was in a point of the farmhouse that allowed tranquility and privacy, and at the same time was close to the reception, the main structure and the pool. I would gladly return to spend another relaxing weekend. 😊

We had a wonderful time in this beautifully situated place. Our apartment had a beautiful terrace under a canopy with hanging bunches of grapes. The beds were good and the towels and bed linen were fresh and clean. If you booked breakfast you will receive fresh towels every 3 days (1 small, 1 medium and 1 large per person). There are vineyards all around. Siena could be seen from our bedroom window. Very relaxing place with many nationalities staying there overnight. There is a room with several washing machines and where you can do laundry for a fee. Very nice. From this place you can easily drive to the beautiful and cozy old town of Siena and in an hour and a half you will be in the heart of Florence. There are also many supermarkets in the area. A car is necessary. The Coop in Piazza Palmiro Togliatti is highly recommended. Covered and therefore fresh parking (free) under the supermarket. Across the street there is a nice bar where you can drink an espresso at Italian prices. There is also a pharmacy there. There is also a Conad nearby. Nice new supermarket with a great selection of fresh and local produce, and there is a McDonalds nearby. The pool is nice with salt water instead of chlorine. Needs renovation, loose tiles on the edge. The living room sofa, which is also a sofa bed, was quite dirty. The kitchenette is in a cupboard. Very inventive. Just missing a decent inventory. It is a bit cluttered. Our confirmation stated that an electric kettle would be available. Then it was not there. A whistling kettle. But it took almost half an hour to boil water on these burners. As if there was no power behind it. Asked for a kettle at reception. It would be arranged, unfortunately not received. We also asked for a tea towel, which we received immediately, which was great! The fridge was very old. Cracking device that was missing the handle and generated a lot of heat. There is no air conditioning. Only a ceiling fan. In combination with opening opposite windows at night, this worked well to dissipate the heat. Breakfast is a bit simple. You have to pay extra for an espresso or cappuccino. There are no fresh rolls or croissants. Just slices of bread that you can toast. The homemade cakes (?) are very tasty! There are also containers of (fruit) yogurt with muesli. Cheese, ham, jam, some fruits and natural juices. Our conclusion is that the price-quality ratio is somewhat distorted.
