The Fraccaroli Family's Heritage of Valpolicella Winemaking
The Fraccaroli family has been cultivating vines in San Pietro in Cariano, located in the heart of the Classic Valpolicella region, for generations. The family's winemaking journey began in 1946 when Giovanni, the grandfather, transitioned from grape production to crafting Valpolicella and Recioto wines. This marked the start of a rich family tradition with their first two hectares in Cariano.
A Legacy of Passion and Quality
Under the guidance of Mario, Giovanni's son, the family continued to nurture their vineyards and cellar with dedication. Supported by his wife Teodora, they expanded their vineyard holdings in Valpolicella. In 2010, the winery was entrusted to Flavio, who honors his father's traditional methods while incorporating modern techniques. Together with Mario and his sister Daniela, they manage the vineyards, cellar, and hospitality, ensuring the family legacy thrives.
