Overlooking the charms of the Gulf of Vasto, enjoying an eye-piercing view of the Punta Penna Cape, Fontefico is an organic winery located in the Souther Abruzzo coast of Italy. The estate produces excellent DOC wines, around 45,000 bottles, and export them across the globe. All the Fontefico jewels are prepared from a single-vineyard plot where native grapes are grown with great passion.

Perfect Microclimate for Growing Top Quality Grapes

The vineyard covers a total land of 15 hectares where organic, traditional activities are carried out to cultivate a vast number of indigenous vines. It includes top-quality Pecorino, Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, and Montepulciano, grown alongside with fruity Aglianico and Malvasia. Using small carts and 20kg boxes, the grapes are collected by hand. The terroirs and microclimate of Abruzzo, facing the Adriatic Sea, are perfect for the production of blue-ribbon wines, comprising red, white, and rose wines.
