Situated just half a kilometer from the historic Cistercian Abbey of Santa Maria Arabona, Tenuta Arabona is a gem in the heart of Abruzzo. This picturesque winery is surrounded by rolling hills, a majestic river, and lush woodlands, where it crafts premium organic wines and extra virgin olive oil.

Tradition Meets Innovation

Domenico Radica leads the Arabona Wine Estate, a family-run business that began in the late 1960s with his parents, Pasquale and Dina. After completing his agricultural studies, Domenico transformed the winery into an organic farm in 1991, the same year it received organic certification. This pivotal change marked a new chapter in the winery's history. Today, Tenuta Arabona boasts modern facilities, including stainless steel tanks, advanced machinery, and temperature-controlled fermentation systems.

Beyond Organic Wines

The winery's southeast-facing vineyards benefit from fertile terroirs, producing high-quality grapes such as Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino, and Passerina. These varietals are the foundation for exquisite still and sparkling organic wines. Covering 25 hectares, the estate dedicates two hectares to olive oil production. Additionally, Tenuta Arabona honors Abruzzo's culinary traditions by creating local specialties like cooked wine, cooked must, jams, and juices.
