Winemakers in Montalcino since 1966:

The family-run business is managed today from Lorenzo, Lisa and Serena, the third generation that inherited the passion and vocation from Father Franco Pacenti. Today the three brothers look to the future by renewing values and traditions, passed down from grandfather Rosildo who in the 1960s he founded the agricultural company.

A poem born from the earth:

A classic and pure interpretation of the Sangiovese, with maximum attention to
sustainable and respectful vineyard care of the environment.
10 hectares cultivated at 300 m altitude on the north-east slope of the Montalcino hill, in the Canalicchio area, a historic area and among the most suitable of the denomination, characterized by lands with a marked clay component.

An elegant sip with a classic expression:

Sincere and characterful wines, faithful to the vintages and to the own territory of origin, the result of perfect combination between people and their land. Fermentations in steel at room temperature controlled with pumping over and délestage, followed from long macerations on the skins. Long refinements strictly in large barrels of Slavonian and French oak, where the Sangiovese matures to its maximum expression.

A wonderful place. My husband and I toured the winery with a guide and tasted the Montalcino red wine and the Brunello, both truly remarkable. After the tour, the guide invited us for an aperitif on the terrace, where the view is truly breathtaking. The aperitif included typical local products such as cured meats and cheeses. The property is truly beautiful, and you can even reach it via a road through the beautiful olive grove.

Visited during July for a tour. The tour was excellent, we learned a lot! The tasting was delicious. Views were incredible. We took our young children with us and it worked out well. Would highly recommend!

We purchased a gift set that included a cellar tour and wine tasting. The experience was very pleasant, and Lucrezia, who guided us, was very attentive and friendly. At the end of the wine tasting, we also purchased some of the company's original products. It was a fantastic experience.

We had a really good and interesting wine tour and tasting at Franco Pacini. Lucretia took us through the winery explaining the philisophy of their wines as well as the actual process. Furthermore, she guided us in the tasting in an excellent way and we learned the characteristics and differences of the wines, which all were top quality.

An amazing time visiting a small family producer on the North side of Montalcino. Fabulous brunello’s and rosso’s that we can’t wait to enjoy more once we are home. We also loved the new Rose they are producing! Look forward to visiting again soon and staying in touch!

I recently visited the winery, followed by a walk through the vineyards and a tasting. I can say it was a fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone. The staff is also very well-trained in language management. A special mention goes to Lorenzo, who captivated me with his explanations, and you really feel that the cellar is like the vineyard and its life. Truly many compliments. PS Top wines
