A Family Story
The Gaec Venot is a creation of two brothers Robert and Jacques Venot and since then the winemaking know-how and passion has been b=passed on to other generations who have been carrying it forward with equal grace. In 1983, the Gaec Venot Winery was regrouped in Gaec (common Agricultural Group). And in the year 2015, another partner joined and the estates expanded to spread over other municipalities.
The Winery has an Ideal Location
Amidst the Cote du Beaune in the north and the Maconnais mountains to the south, the vineyards of the Gaec Venot spread 25 km long. The soil here consist of clay-limestone. Different wine appellations here such as the Burgundy Cote Chalonnaise or the Burgundy Cote du Couchois, Bouzeron, Rully, Mercury, Givry and Motagny make this land heavenly for lands. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Aligote and Gamay can be found here in luscious amounts.
