Stayed at Il Borro in the heart of Toscana, where everything feels like it’s straight out of a Tuscan daydream, local products, their own farm, and organic wine so good it practically sings you a love song. I had to leave (still crying about it), but I’d have stayed longer even with the staff playing a constant game of “Who Can Contradict Who” about the restaurant hours and menus. Honestly, a menu in the rooms would solve the mystery faster than Sherlock. But the dog-friendliness? Absolute 10/10 my pup was treated like a VIP (Very Important Pooch). It’s paradise, as long as you’re okay with a little comedy of errors on the side.

Last night with friends we went to dinner at Tuscan Bistrot. In addition to finding a well-kept and welcoming environment, important mentions must be made of those who work there. Starting from the kitchen, chefs Gianmarco and Pino, delighted us with delicious and carefully prepared dishes. Fabulous spinach and ricotta gnudi on parmesan cream and truffle flakes and the desserts... what can I say, a journey of flavors. The welcome and kindness of Nicola, Elvio and Letizia, who work in the dining room, made us feel truly at home, caring that we didn't lack anything and making us feel good. Thank you for making this dinner special, you made us feel at home. I really recommend trying it! We will definitely be back, sure to feel good again!

Il Borro estate is the best winery / hotel / vacation spot in Tuscany. We have had the honor to stay at this beautiful location twice and cannot wait to come back for the third time. Our last visit there was in August of 2024. We had the pleasure to stay in their Villa Mulino. WOW were we surprised. Comprised of two separate homes with a beautiful pool in between. It was so nice to take over the whole Villa. We played golf, wine tasting, enjoyed all of their restaurants, worked out in their gym. What a fantastic experience. If you get a chance make sure that you visit and stay at Il Borro. We shall see you there.

I'm impressed. It is a unique location where you can enjoy your own little Italian town while staying in an ancient Italian house. This historic village was revitalized in 1993 by the family behind the famous brand Salvatore Ferragamo, who preserved its authenticity and transformed it into a one-of-a-kind retreat. Here, you can fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of medieval Italy, strolling through narrow streets among charming houses and artisan workshops. Château Il Borro offers guests a unique experience: from breakfast in stylish restaurants to relaxing spa treatments. You can also enjoy walks through the vineyards, swimming in the pools, playing tennis, or horseback riding. In the evening, indulge in dinner at one of the restaurants with an extensive wine list, tasting the exceptional Il Borro wines produced right here — from rich reds to fresh whites, rosés, and sparkling varieties. Extremely attentive to every service despite being very extensive. A dive into nature and artistic and food and wine tradition! Absolutely to try!

Absolutely breathtaking! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon for 2 nights and it was so peaceful and beautiful. The staff is very kind, helpfu,l and they really make you feel welcomed. The horses were beautiful and the property is nice and secluded. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. We did a vineyard tour and it was a lot of fun to see the land. I would definitely stay here again.

When the hotel is a whole village! When we arrived, we were surprised at how big and beautiful the location of the hotel is. A small Italian village has been converted into a hotel. There is simply everything: shoemakers, jewelry designers and even a small chapel. Church services are held here once a month, always on the first Sunday. The welcome was very warm. Our room was a dream. We had a suite in the Country Side area. The suite was very spacious and extremely well-kept. There were also welcome gifts waiting for us: a fresh bouquet of flowers, a bottle of Il Borro wine and homemade crackers. The housekeeping team was absolutely brilliant. They were like little house elves; you never saw them, but you always had the feeling that they were constantly at work. The hotel has three breathtaking infinity pools. Each one has a bar with a food area. There you can order small, warm snacks as well as drinks. The pool areas have enough loungers and enough fresh towels. We always had the feeling that we were the only guests and therefore the maximum relaxation factor. In addition to the pools, there are two tennis courts, a gym area, a museum, and hiking and cycling routes. Il Borro also has its own horse breeding farm with well over 100 horses. This meant that we were able to spontaneously book a horse ride. In general, our every wish was fulfilled. Even when the weather wasn't so good one day, the staff arranged an appointment for us in the private spa. Simply fantastic. Il Borro has two different restaurants for dinner. A fine dining restaurant and a slightly more casual one. Both restaurants are excellent, although we liked the ambience of the fine dining better. When the weather is nice, you sit on the terrace with a view of the picturesque village. When the weather is bad, the meal is served in a beautiful indoor area with a view of the open kitchen. The staff here were always extremely friendly and welcoming. Best wishes to the first-class sommelier and his competent team. Another highlight was the pizza party. This takes place every evening in the Country Side when the weather is nice. You are served classic Italian delicacies, as well as pizza from the stone oven. Everything is decorated in a typically Italian style and there is a great, festive atmosphere. Unfortunately, our 5-day stay went by far too quickly. On the day of departure, we were given more farewell gifts. This time it was homemade pasta and olive oil. My wife found it visibly difficult to say goodbye, so much so that she even shed a tear when we checked out. We had an absolutely unforgettable time and will definitely come back. An incredible experience !!!!!!!! A service of a very high quality followed by a kindness and a grandiose professionalism Il borro is a place where time becomes your friend or the birds accompany you when you wake up, the domain is very large which makes us want to walk from the fields of horses passing through the village and through the small quiet streets. The very verandes rooms very well decorated with this romantic Italian style. The restaurants are delicious and the breakfast is plentiful everything is cait houses it is a delight. If I have to rate this hotel it is with a score of 10/10 Service, kindness, cleanliness, cuisine, a very big thank you for your professionalism!

We stayed in this incredible establishment for 24 hours. The place is surprising since it is a whole medieval complex that constitutes the establishment. The decoration is very neat and the atmosphere really warm. The staff is just perfect, attentive while remaining discreet. Now, for an establishment of this standing, everything is far from perfect, besides the failure of the water heater which gave us a cold shower, the pretty flaky brioche at breakfast was at least 48 hours old and had little flaky left. The dinner at the gourmet restaurant was very pleasant and once again the service very friendly. In short, an extraordinary place that is really worth the detour if only for its originality with its small flaws but so much charm

Such a great hotel complex. Great service, delicious food in both the Tuscano and the Osteria. We feel great all around and enjoy it here.

I can only agree with my wife. Everything is great here. Gustavo felt just as comfortable as we think. When you book a 5 🌟 hotel you should be aware of the costs. If you pay €200 for dinner in the osteria for 2 people with wine and water for Gustav, this is OK for this quality. The friendly staff made our stay very pleasant. We would especially like to praise Antonelle, with her always friendly manner, even when Gustav always wants to "jump on" her. In conclusion: highly recommended.

Il Borro combines everything I imagine Italy and Tuscany to be. It has flair but is modern, so there are big TVs and good WiFi, but you are staying in a medieval town. There is also wine, great food and simply relaxation by one of the pools. What is important is that you relax and don't let yourself get stressed. Breakfast takes longer and the coffee takes 10 minutes, even if there are only four guests. But you get used to it on the second day and then you enjoy the view and relax. Always worth a visit. A tip: book the restaurant when you make your reservation, as there are fewer places in the restaurant than there are guests.

Spectacular place.

Medieval village completely restored by the Ferragamo family. The rooms are comfortable, the restaurant is very good. It has a spa, swimming pools, and a gym. The location is a bit out of the way, so you can spend a few days there. The staff is very friendly and well trained.

A charming place, incredible, excellent service and accompanied by history, the stay in this place is magical.

I loved the quality of the facilities and service and the wonderful location, as well as the restoration of the old town to make it habitable as a hotel, a winery producing great wines and a farm producing magnificent olive oil and a breeding farm for fine horses.
