Discover Il Cocco , one of Montalcino 's most intimate and authentic wineries. Pioneers of organic farming since the early 2000s, we have chosen to protect the land by rejecting pesticides and investing in viticulture that celebrates the life and biodiversity of the soil.
With less than 3 hectares of vineyards , our production is limited and precious: around 10,000 bottles a year , destined for private collectors and selected international importers who seek the truest soul of the Ilcinese terroir.
Our vision extends beyond the vineyard. On a hectare dedicated to experimentation, we are developing an innovative project in regenerative natural agriculture and agroforestry . Here, vegetables and fruit grow in harmony with the ecosystem, regenerating the land for future generations.

Beautiful!! We stayed with the motorhome, there is no real motorhome area, but a plot with some spaces with light and sink... there is no drainage. the place is very cozy, the staff is very friendly and the food is very good, the wine they produce is very good.. the location is a bit out of town, but you can move very well with the caravan and what is very important at night you sleep peacefully... well definitely it is a place I would happily return to.

A farm surrounded by nature under a small forest of stone pines: magnificent! We ate there first: the kitchen is familiar, but everything is homemade and delicious, at an unbeatable price! (I am a vegetarian and I found my happiness). Then we did the visit + tasting with the owner, Giacomo. Impressive! Giacomo is a passionate, intelligent and very friendly person, who for 2.5 hours shared with us his passion for wine and the land, answering all our questions in English. I would need pages and pages to say it all and this is not the right place, so the best I can do is tell you: go ahead, it is worth it and a visit with wine tasting and local products lasting more than 2 hours in Montalcino for 30€/person is really not expensive!

It is a 15th century farmhouse with no neighbours. It has very few rooms and a beautiful landscape. The chef's kitchen respects the purest Tuscan tradition. The Brunello is excellent. They speak several languages. You can't miss it!!!
