Located in the rolling hills of Tuscany, Il Quercione vineyard and winery is a small family-run farm passionate about producing high quality organic wines that' truly represent the region.

We produce - Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG, Vinsanto di Montepulciano DOC, Rosé IGT Toscana and Super Tuscan. While continuing in the classic artisanal fashion, we blend traditional methods with innovate ideas to create wines with unique and refined aromas.

We are one of the oldest (since 2003) "certified organic" wineries in Montepulciano. Grapes are grown without chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides which is reflected in the taste of our wines.

Our goal is to practice environmentally conscious farming methods in our wine production. Wherever possible, we minimize the use of machines and emphasize working with our hands, especially during harvest, when we only select the best bunches. Maintaining the environment and giving back to the land is what defines our work. Thus, organic farming allows us to stay small.

This is what we are: a boutique winery, not a big business. You will not find our wines in any supermarket, but only in selected shops and restaurants.

We welcome you at Il Quercione to visit our winery and experience the Tuscan wine tradition.

Great small family-run business and you can have a great time talking with Sudha, the wine maker who used to be used to work in the corporate world and then decided to start a new life with her husband farming and making wine. Great time and good Reserva!

What a fantastic experience at Manvi's! We enjoyed a unique wine tasting with delicious wines and breathtaking views—a perfect combination. The owner guided us through the vineyard and enthusiastically and expertly explained the grape varieties and the winemaking process. We tasted five delicious wines, one rosé and four reds—each full of flavor and an absolute delight. We also tried his homemade olive oil, which was exceptionally aromatic and full of character. The passion and hospitality made it truly special. Highly recommended!

This vineyard visit was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, Puru (the owner and host, along with his wife) came to greet us at our car and made us feel truly welcome. We did a tour of the vineyard, and it was clear that Puru is deeply passionate about what he does. He explained every aspect with care and enthusiasm, and was more than happy to answer all of our (many) questions. It was a private tour, just the two of us, which made the experience even more special and personal. One of the important aspects of this vineyard is that they are fully organic. You can feel how much importance the owners place on sustainability and doing things the right way. That environmental awareness and commitment to quality is something I deeply appreciate. After the tour, we enjoyed a tasting of five wines outside by the vineyard itself. The setting was beautiful, and the wines were presented in a thoughtful order, starting from lighter wines and moving toward the more complex ones. The atmosphere throughout was relaxed and casual, which made the whole experience very enjoyable. Puru also shared his personal story about how he ended up making wine in Tuscany. We enjoyed the experience so much that we ordered several bottles to be shipped back home to Finland. I highly recommend doing the same — the wines are great and reflect the care and craftsmanship behind them. Overall, this was an unforgettable visit. I absolutely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area and want a truly authentic small vineyard experience.

A great experience- the owner and the host were amazing. Knowledgeable, kind and friendly. We had a light lunch with a 5 wines tasting. It was both delicious and interesting. The wines were tasty and siting in the garden in the breeze was fun. Highly recommended.
