Each wine that is produced is considered to be a unique work of art that demonstrates the beauty and magnificence of the Eger region along with the expert skills and passion of the wine creator. Since Eger is located in the region where the climate is cooler, the grape varietals which are grown include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet France and Hungarian varietals of Furmint and Kekfrankos. These grapes are farmed using only sustainable farming methods and practices to ensure that the quality of the wine is not compromised. The winery itself is situated across seven continuous cellars on the historic Veroszala Street in the town of Eger. The wines of Kovacs Nimrod Winery are divided into three groups – the Collector’s Corner, the Monopole Wines and the Everyday Pleasures.
