Perfect climatic conditions for great wines
Le Manoir de Brendel is a family owned winery where all grapes are harvested by hand from selected low yielding vines. On sorting tables all bunches which do not meet the high standard are removed. Le Manoir de Brendel stands for attention to detail according to centuries old tradition of winemaking.
In this mild and sunny climate in the shadow of the mountains, 80% of the vineyards are planted with red varieties and 20% with white. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinotage and Shiraz are their red cultivars, and Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Semmilon and Chardonnay the white cultivars.
Wines reflecting the values of the owner
The individuality of the winery is striking in the wines they make. These wines taste of their delicious and strong values for excellence, innovation, hospitality and tradition. And not to forget the incredible terroir that the vines are cultivated in, the exhilarating taste of the Cape Winelands and the Franschhoek valley lingers long after on your palate as well as your memory.
