Located in the picturesque Valdobbiadene area known as ‘Il Settolo,’ the Leo Vanin winery is nestled among the rolling hills of the Piave River, near Venice, Italy. This charming winery is housed in a historic farmhouse that has been in the Mattiazo family for over a century. Surrounded by lush vineyards, the Mattiazo brothers initially planted the grapes that now flourish on this estate. Following World War II, Leo Vanin began producing wines, initially for family use and later to generate income. Today, the winery remains a family-run operation, dedicated to crafting high-quality wines.

Quality Wines from Careful Cultivation

The Leo Vanin winery spans 6 hectares of meticulously maintained vineyards. Each phase of grape cultivation, from flowering to harvest, is handled with care to ensure the highest quality. In the cellar, grapes are manually pressed to facilitate vinification, resulting in exceptional wines. The signature Leo Vanin Prosecco is a sparkling wine that undergoes natural fermentation in the bottle. The winery produces wines under the prestigious Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG, Asolo Superiore DOCG, and Treviso DOC denominations.

A Diverse Range of Sparkling Wines

In addition to their renowned Prosecco, the winery has recently introduced a sparkling wine made from red Bordeaux grape varieties. The Leo Vanin portfolio includes frizzante (semi-sparkling), frizzante with natural second fermentation, and spumante (sparkling) wines, catering to a variety of palates.
