Preserving the Traditional Winemaking Practices in a New Winery
Born into winemakers’ families, it wasn’t challenging for Céline and Frédéric to start their own winery in 2013. Domaine Céline & Frédéric Gueguen is located in the heart of Chablis vineyard in the wine region of Bourgogne. Before establishing the estate, both worked in the family winery, Jean-Marc Brocard. The couple follows in their forefathers’ footsteps, and today, they produce high-end red, white, rose, and sparkling wines.
Wines Made from Chablis & Burgundy Vines
The estate owns 25 hectares of vineyards where flagship Chardonnay grapes are grown, along with Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. In 2014, Céline’s mother, Claudine Petit, gifted her daughter a unique vineyard site, Marie Louise Petit-Pinon – perfect for Burgundy vines. Each wine produced from these grapes expresses the hard work and craftsmanship of the owner.
Houses For Rent – La Maison de Pauline & La Rive Saline
Specially designed to meet guests’ needs, Céline and Frédéric own a rustic lodge, La Maison de Pauline, in the charming village of Préhy, surrounded by rows of vines and lush countryside. It has four well-equipped bedrooms that can accommodate up to nine people. Another rest house in Préhy, La Rive Saline, has two fully-furnished bedrooms for five people. Both cottages enjoy a quiet, peaceful environment, where guests can enjoy a bottle of wine while absorbing a 360-degree view of scenic landscapes.
