The Winery

Maison S. Delafont Artisan Négociant is located at the edge of the Cévennes National Park next to the medieval village of Vézénobres. Our will is to work the vineyard in accordance with the natural ecosystem without soil treatment and without amendment.

The particularity of our winery is that we vinify and raise our wines in stainless-steel barrels crafted directly in our workshop. This technique developed by Samuel Delafont allows the wine to age on the lees and keep the natural freshness of the wine.

We offer different tasting concepts of our fine wines of Languedoc on our panoramic terrace, an ideal offer to refresh after visiting the Cévennes region.

Friendly welcome. Discreet presence of the seller with relevant advice. The spacious and well-structured shop makes it easy to get around. The regional wines, few in number, are of quality and sold at reasonable prices, in particular the white Mosaïque and the Clape. Obviously, this opinion is only my own.

A great time spent with colleagues for a superb wine tasting accompanied by cold meats and cheese, great discoveries and a very friendly moment. Visit to the cellar, tasting and presentation of the wines organized by Mr. Delafont's sister who speaks with passion about her brother's work and the profession in general, her good humor won me (us) all over. It is with the greatest pleasure that I will return.
