Marchetto Winery: In the Heart of Veneto
Marchetto Vini is a small winery located in the historic city of Gambellara in Veneto. The winery is surrounded by vineyards present on the slopes of the Veronese Lessini Mountains. There is a combination of modern, innovative technology with traditional winemaking ideas. The company has always vinified grapes grown exclusively in their vineyards to maintain the authenticity of the wines and family traditions. Emilio started the winemaking, and now his grandson Luciano runs the estate with his wife Giordana and son Federico.
Taste Some of the Best White Wines in the Region
The winery owns around 4 hectares of land and grows its own Garganega grapes in the vineyards. The volcanic hills of the region are responsible for basaltic soil that is rich in salts. The vineyards are cultivated with Veronese Pergola and have great exposure to the sun that allows perfect ripening of the grapes. The combination of soil and the microclimate helps in the growth of high-quality grapes for Marchetto’s Recioto di Gambellara DOCG wines.

Surrounded by a Beautiful Landscape
The best Garganega grapes are handpicked and brought to the cellar in small boxes. The grapes rest for around ninety days here, and then the pressing and fermentation occurs with various yeasts that make the traditional wines famous here. The winery is open for visitors and organizes exciting activities and wine tasting. Gambellara, famous for its wine production, is surrounded by green hills and is the perfect place for vacation and ecological trip.
