Founded by Emilio, the winery is now managed by his grandson Luciano, alongside his wife Giordana and son Federico, ensuring that family traditions and authenticity remain at the heart of their wines.

Exceptional White Wines from Garganega Grapes

Spanning approximately 4 hectares, Marchetto cultivates its own Garganega grapes, known for producing some of the finest white wines in the region. The volcanic hills contribute to a unique basaltic soil rich in minerals, while the Veronese Pergola system allows for optimal sun exposure, promoting the perfect ripening of the grapes. This ideal combination of soil and microclimate results in high-quality grapes that are the foundation of Marchetto’s acclaimed Recioto di Gambellara DOCG wines.

At Marchetto, the best Garganega grapes are handpicked and transported to the cellar in small boxes, where they rest for about ninety days before pressing and fermentation.
