Mariottini Winery

My friends and I walked here and it was lovely. A reservation is recommended so you can enjoy wine sampling with Giulio. His family run winery including his pooch Emma were most welcoming. The wines were splendid and the setting serene and off the beaten track. A little gem.

We went here without any reservations. Giullio ansewered the telephone and immediatly opened his store for us. The passion and enthousiasm Giullio presents his wines and showes you his production process is outstanding as his knowledge of wines. We left with a full collection of biological wines and even olive oil. Of you are in the area, this is a must go!

We had a wonderful time here, Giulio is a great host who makes fantastic wines. He was very generous with his time and his wines, this is definitely worth a visit when in Tuscany. He has some very unique varieties and makes some traditional Tuscan wines as well. We can’t wait to return!

We were there yesterday for the wine tasting. It was a lovely experience with very good wines, lots of information and funny stories. Giulio is very authentic, honest and passionate about making wine, which I think is reflected in his products. Definitely worth a visit, Grazie!

I recommend this family-run winery in the Arezzo area, where you will meet the owner and the agronomist and farmer Giulio himself - a person who enthusiastically transmits his passion for the land and its products and puts it into practice in his work. After a visit to the wine cellar, Giulio lets us taste five types of wine. €15 for the cellar experience is a really honest price for the time he dedicates to you.

Brilliant visit to this winery with friends whilst staying in Arezzo. So glad we came across Giulio and his winery! His passion shone through, and it was very special being talked through the whole process via the man who does it all himself. Thank you for a great experience. The sparkling wine was so unique and my favourite being a lover of fizz!

Giulio was a superstar, plenty of knowledge and know how. He explained the process and his passion was infectious. He put on a great spread but most importantly the wines were magnificent, in particular his sparkling which was a bit funky but super interesting. I met Mariottini at the fair of independent winemakers in Piacenza. Pleasantly impressed by the wines, we decided to spend a weekend in Arezzo to visit him!! Obviously a super pleasant day with Giulio who accompanied us to his vineyards and cellar for tastings. I renew my great enthusiasm for these wines!! A small company that produces excellent products precisely because of the care it can dedicate to the limited production of wines and oil.

Sensational! That is our conclusion after 1.5 hours with this young winemaker, who, thanks to his training, his expertise and his character, combines everything you could hope for from a great winemaker. He still has a small business, but creates excellent wines. An absolute insider tip for wine lovers! A very special experience for us during our wine tour through Tuscany.

Excellent wines, both white and red. Very interesting visit by a wine enthusiast, who experiments to seek excellence. The wines of the estate compete well with our Bordeaux wines. Thank you again for this precious moment.

I tried Furfantin and Fugifuggi. The first is the result of an excellent choice of maceration and extraction times. The grapes were also good, treated with respect, which gave a delicate flavor to the wine. Fuggifuggi is white, pleasant to the palate and with good possibilities of pairing with white meats. Interesting "saline" note on the finish, which makes this wine atypical for its production area and, for this reason, even more special. Great job!

Excellent winery with very good wines and oil with the flavor of the past. The location is spectacular and the owners, very serious and precise people, are very kind and hospitable as well as very funny. They were able to answer all my questions and educated me in the production of good wine :)
