We booked a wine tasting and were thrilled with the estate and the tour. It was a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. The tour was conducted with great care and pride in the place and the work done there. The wine tasting was the perfect finishing touch.

Lovely winery down a dirt lane. We showed up without a reservation and although they did not have full tastings available when we showed up, they were happy to give us a couple samples + they have wine by the glass and bottle for purchase and we could explore the property.

From what I've seen, the estate is truly beautiful and very well maintained. I was invited to cut the cake at the wedding of two friends. The cake was delicious. The estate is enormous.

We tasted some of their wines and the winery tour was worthwhile. A privileged location with wonderful views. A modern winery with classic touches in its architecture. I was surprised to see that the fermentation takes place in cement.

We stopped by on our way to Volterra and what a great surprise! We did the tour with Tomasso and loved it. Very pacient with all the explanations, incredible views and great wines. A gem in the middle of the Tuscany

A fantastic place I visited during a press tour. The exterior landscape is breathtakingly beautiful, while the interior exudes austerity and elegance. The winery is 600 years old but was substantially revitalized in 2003 and has been owned by a Swedish family since 2013. Located in the heart of Tuscany, near Volterra, it produces exceptional organic white and red wines, made from grapes hand-harvested in the estate's vineyards. In addition to wine, Monterosola also produces extra virgin olive oil with an elegant and pleasantly acidic flavor. The winery hosts wine and olive oil tastings and is a perfect venue for special events. The production cellar is a welcoming space, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. For winemaking, it employs highly advanced solutions, such as tempered glass amphorae to prevent thermal shock to the grapes.

A new winery is not often you get to experience. This one is worth visiting and is impressive in many ways. Wines are nice and appreciate the style they are made in as many are "in purezza"

We had a wine tasting and a short tour. The winery is very elegant, modern, and impressive. The staff were very friendly. The wine was excellent. We bought a few bottles in the attached shop.

It was by chance, but this winery is so beautifully situated that we simply had to stop in. Congratulations to the Swedish owners on realizing their dreams. Absolutely gorgeous – plus fantastic wine, incredibly friendly service, a great tour, and a generous wine tasting by… yes, my memory for names fails me. Thank you a thousand times over – it was perfect.

New, magnificent building. The tour is in Italian and English (I don't know if other languages are available), and it also includes a tasting of several wines for a reasonable price. The wine prices are moderately high, but well-founded.

Wonderful winery with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lots of nice surroundings to sit down and have a glass of wine, have a picnic or just take a guided tour or wine tasting. Definitely worth a visit!

On my way to Volterra, I came across the entrance to this winery and I don't regret visiting it. We were greeted by the very polite and helpful owner. The tour with wine tasting was excellent, the facilities are new and very beautiful, truly dedicated to wine tourism. I believe that in the future it will become a must-see stop for anyone visiting Volterra.

Superb Tuscan wines... Indomito - Corpo Notte - Il Canto della Civetta... A stunning estate and a wonderful welcome from both the owner Bencht (I hope I spelled his name correctly) and Michele, who accompanied us on the tour. An unforgettable day!
