A Family-Run Winery Crafting Exceptional Wines and Olive Oil
Welcome to Noble Hill Wine Estate
Noble Hill Wine Estate is nestled on the northern granitic slopes of the Simonsberg Mountains, a region celebrated for its exceptional wines for over 300 years. This unique location, situated between the renowned Paarl and Stellenbosch wine regions, allows Noble Hill to produce wines that are fresh, light, and elegant. The estate specializes in Provencal-style wines, particularly Cabernet and various blends. Adjacent to the vineyard, the estate features a charming restaurant named ‘Cosecha,’ where visitors can enjoy meals made with fresh, local ingredients.
Olive Cultivation Alongside Vineyards
Located in one of South Africa's premier winegrowing areas, Noble Hill benefits from an ideal microclimate, perfect for vine cultivation. In addition to their vineyards, the estate proudly cultivates 1,200 olive trees, producing a limited selection of extra virgin olive oil from Kalamata, Mission, Manzanillo, and Frantoio olives. This commitment to quality extends beyond wine, showcasing the estate's dedication to artisanal products.
Signature Grapes and Award-Winning Wines
The winery primarily grows Chenin Blanc, Viognier, Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Each grape is handpicked to ensure the highest quality for their red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines. Noble Hill's wines have gained international recognition, earning numerous prestigious awards, including a gold medal for their Merlot at the Sakura Wine Awards in 2014. With a focus on quality and craftsmanship, Noble Hill Wine Estate continues to be a standout in the South African wine scene.
