František Fabičovic, the owner of Obelisk Winery, draws inspiration from the rich cultural legacy of ancient Greek and Roman civilizations, often referred to as classical antiquity. This historical influence shapes the winery's philosophy and practices.

Obelisk Winery honors the esteemed winemaking traditions of the Liechtenstein family, who have deep ties to the town of Valtice. The winery is also dedicated to restoring the natural landscape around the meandering Thaya (Dyje) River, located within the owner's Obelisk game reserve.

Beautiful restaurant, fantastic ambience, very friendly staff, top wines, beautiful view, well suited for birthdays, weddings and companies. Make a reservation in advance, and of course you can also book various things, such as a saxophone player and much more.

An idyllic place, in the middle of nature far from hectic life, ideal for a meeting with friends or an agape with colleagues. Here you can enjoy peace, very well-cooked and selected food and the main goal is a wide variety of aromas and tastes of wines from Moravia.

If you use one of the four rooms in the winery, you won't regret it. At 6pm the winery closes and you have the endless vineyards to yourself. You will be surrounded by a peaceful environment, wonderful views and silence. Breakfast was hearty and I liked the wine. Refrigerator in the room with 10 chilled wines for purchase and a welcome bottle. The rooms are on the ground floor, with no balcony, but you can use the terrace on the 1st floor, which is accessible throughout the day. You can reach the town in about 20-25 minutes on foot, either via a nice walk through the vineyards or via a paved road where nobody drives in the evening (it is not lit). I recommend it and will definitely come back.

A beautiful winery that is difficult to get to due to private events. After 6 years we succeeded and it was worth it. Beautiful modern interior, pleasant service, wine was good. Beautiful toilets need to be spruced up a bit. All clean, polished.

Beautiful setting, excellent wine, but unfortunately, it's closed to the public more than it is open. I visited it five times during the summer, and it wasn't open even once. I guess I was unlucky this year.
