Heureka Kurdějov Vinařství s.r.o. is a dream turned reality. Since acquiring our property at Kurdějov 16 in 2017, we have aimed to harness the charm of Kurdějov for short-term stays, hiking, cycling, and showcasing local wines. This village, known as one of the "lost villages," saw nearly its entire population evicted after World War II. Our mission is to help visitors appreciate the unique character of Kurdějov, encapsulated in our motto: "heureka. gurdau... a place where wines are at home... since ancient times."

Quality Wines from a Small Winery

Our winery, which includes a guest house and a wine shop, is aptly named heureka. kurdějov vinařství s.r.o. The name reflects our commitment to the region and its heritage. Previously, the property was known as "Flamenco," a name that had no connection to Kurdějov. We wanted a name that resonated with the local culture and was easy to remember. A humorous sign left by local residents on a witch night in 2018, reading "Žabinec," inspired us and highlighted the community spirit.

A Green Hub with Varietal Vines

The area surrounding our guest house is rich in underground water, historically attracting frogs that create a symphony of sounds during their mating season. We began renovating the property in early 2020, with plans for completion that same year. Although the COVID-19 pandemic altered our timeline, we are excited to welcome you to our guest house and wine bar, where you can enjoy the unique flavors of Kurdějov wines. A wonderful place, a wonderful guesthouse, excellent wines and thanks to the owners Roman and Anička you feel like home. Tasting local wines in Roman style is just a must... and Mandlovice made from local almonds is great. We are looking forward to the next time... it was certainly not the last time

What an amazing place! Roman and Anna are lovely, the apartments are beautiful, new, super clean and very well equipped. Great wine :) Perfect location to visit gorgeous Moravia, just 30 minutes to Brno, the lake, the Aquapark, and more. Wish we could stay longer!

We spent several nights in the guesthouse. Since we were traveling with young children, we did not focus on local wines, but traveled more around the area. The accommodation corresponds to the published photos. The neighborhood is quiet. Even the whole village is quiet. Who wants to relax in peace, this is the ideal place. We met the owners only after a few days and I must say that they really live on wine. In that one conversation, I learned a huge amount of information about vine growing and the surrounding area. Because good sommeliers don't just tell you how the wine tastes. Good sommeliers tell you a story. A story that revolves around quality wine.

Pension very pleasant. Almost a home environment :) The owner is a great guy. We rented the entire guesthouse for a small wedding celebration. There was no problem arranging the reservation of the entire guesthouse. Very good communication and excellent wine tasting for us :) I highly recommend it :) ps. Sorry for the later review :)
