History of Fučík Winery

Fučík Winery has a rich winemaking heritage in Mikulov, dating back to ancient times. The current owner, Petr Fučík, faced a pivotal choice: to continue the family tradition or let it fade away. His passion for wine and vineyards led him to return to Mikulov, where he restored the family estate and built a modern winery that honors their legacy.

Crafting Natural Wines

At Fučík Winery, the focus is on producing natural wines from healthy, ripe grapes. Hand-harvesting ensures that only the finest grapes are selected, preserving their quality. Fučík wines are crafted without any artificial additives, reflecting a commitment to purity and authenticity.

The Mikulov Wine Region

The Mikulov wine region, located in the Moravian part of the Czech Republic, boasts a long-standing winemaking tradition. Renowned for its crisp white wines, the region features ideal soil conditions with a balanced mix of clay and sand. The cool, temperate climate allows grapes to ripen slowly, enhancing their flavor. Vineyards are strategically planted on slopes, maximizing sunlight exposure while providing protection from harsh weather.

Thank you very much for the New Year's Eve! There was nothing wrong with sitting with a dulcimer. The gentlemen musicians were amazing and managed to create a wonderful atmosphere. Great, professional service by Mr. Josef and his colleague, excellent wines and snacks - that was the icing on the cake.🙂 We will definitely be happy to come back! Thank you

Thank you for the great meal, porchetta with spinach and Bro. the dumpling was perfect, the fish was excellent, and I also tasted the risotto. Everything perfectly seasoned. Top notch staff, knowledgeable about their craft, plus quick and smiling. That is always a bonus, we went to see you as 3 families with children and we are very happy that we had lunch here. Excellent wines, as well as other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks! An ideal place with children and for bikes as well, I think all the customers were cyclists that day. Wine flights dry, sweet and a flight of the best wines... there is no mistake. Huge greenery and a play area for children with swings for adults, and balls of all sizes can be rented. And all this with a view of St. Scoop. Thank you for your hospitality. We are from Znojmo and there is nothing like that here. Keep up the good work, we'll be happy to come again. Oh, and I also saw the interior of the rooms, they look great

I was traveling with my wife in Czechia, and some friends of hers brought us to Mikulov and this vineyard. We had an absolutely lovely time here! Every wine we tried—and we tried many—was excellent. Wonderful flavors, and an almost effervescent quality to them. I've never had anything like it before or since, and wish I knew how to import some to the US. Strongly recommend spending some time here.
