Paxá Wines

The Paxa winery produces excellent wines in the Algarve. Vanessa's tour, with its comprehensive information and insights into the terroir, grape varieties, harvest, and vinification, was exceptionally well-received thanks to her profound knowledge and willingness to answer all our questions. We particularly enjoyed the rosé, the Viognier, and the Reserva (red blend). Many thanks, Vanessa!

A wonderful, albeit short, visit. The guide was very knowledgeable. Spectacular wines... We tasted three premium wines: Verdelho, Mole Negro, and Touriga Nacional, paired with a dish of local products.

Excellent wine selection. The tasting was very interesting in a very pleasant atmosphere. Everything was beautiful. My only small complaint was that the wine at the tasting, which cost €21, was very cheap. I struggled to distinguish the flavors.

We had a very pleasant guided tour and tasting at Paxá :) The guide told us a lot about the vineyard and the winemaking process; we were lucky that the wine had just been bottled. Afterwards, the tasting took place in a very nice location, where we sampled 3 delicious wines with some tapas. The wines were fantastic. Of course, we bought some bottles from the shop so we could enjoy them at home. Definitely highly recommended! Thank you!

Nice winery, good wine, friendly staff

Wonder small winery with really great wines. Whites and reds both lovely. The tasting and tour experience was very special and cozy. Got to meet the wine maker and taste some in progress wines. Generous tapas and good variety. Diet restrictions easily taken into account, just let them know ahead of time!

We made a taste of wine and enjoyed it so much that we returned to make an experience called “Almoço entre vinhas” in partnership with the inevitable restaurant. It was a fantastic experience, in a relaxed, relaxed and calm atmosphere. We enjoyed it very much and recommend it.

Vanessa was absolutely amazing and so welcoming. She explained in depth the different wines and how they are made from start to finish and how the family business has grown in Portugal’s wine industry. We got to walk around the winery and gain understanding of the machinery used and the process used to harvest the grapes in order to make their wine. We were given an amazing wine tasting with tapas and enjoyed every minute of it. We would recommend this beautiful family owned winery to anyone who visits Portugal! Thank you Vanessa and family for a wonderful experience!

Visited this winery today and received a very warm welcome. I tasted several wines (free of charge) and purchased some red and white wines afterward. I highly recommend this winery.

A lovely winery with delicious products. The wine tasting is highly recommended. The price-performance ratio is excellent. We immediately bought two cases and are taking them home.

Charming welcome

Family owned Vineyard with a private tour. Very informative and I learnt a lot. Nice wine tasting in a lovely area. It would have got 5***** but for the fact they had no white wine left to taste or buy and I'm not really a red wine drinker but the wife loved it, mine you it was free wine tasting so she gave it a 5***** 😅😂🤣 She bought a few bottles at good prices so she's happy.

This wine is incredible. It captures all the saltiness and minerality of the nearby sea breeze in the glass. We've found the best winery in the Algarve here (in terms of value for money) and are delighted to be able to import this exceptional selection to Hamburg. These little hidden gems, discovered by ourselves, are what make it so much fun. Weinliebe Hamburg focuses precisely on this kind of thing.

I had an excellent white Viognier wine from the Algarve. I only regret that it's not available here in Porto so I could try it again.
