Very nice winery with very good wine. I highly recommend a visit.

We had a wonderful wine tasting this afternoon! Since there were only two of us, it was definitely an advantage not to be part of a large group. We enjoyed delicious wines and received excellent explanations about the wines, the grape varieties, and the winery and vineyards themselves. Absolutely worth a visit! The only downside was the rain, but as we all know, that's to be expected in January.

An exceptional tasting experience at the Nexe Vineyards. Wines with identity, well-structured and full of character, presented with knowledge, clarity and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere is tranquil, authentic and unhurried, which makes the experience even more special. I highly recommend it to those who seek more than just tasting wine, who seek to feel the land.

Absolutely loved it! Smooth tasting wine, white, rosé and red, tasted really good together with the excellent tapas board. It is a beautiful space, built and run by young winemakers, who actually do the tour and the tasting. A very lovely experience, that will be repeated for sure 🍷

We had a fantastic wine tasting with Monica. She is such a lovely person to meet. She was able to answer all our questions and more. Our 60 minute visit turned into over 90 minutes and along the way we tried some excellent wines.

Myself and a large group (10 in total) were visiting Portugal and decided that we would like to try wine tasting. We looked up on Google and the nearest one was Vinhas De Nexe. I called up and booked a tour of the vineyard and tasting which was very reasonably priced and we went the following day. When we arrived we were greeted by Monica, who I also booked it through. She was welcoming, friendly and very personable, she told us the story of how her and her husband started making wine and began the business and answered all of our questions. She even went as far as to offer us sun hats for the walk around the vineyards. We then began the tasting which was accompanied by locally produced tapas which were delicious and paired perfectly with the wines. We all decided after that the wine was too delicious for us to leave empty handed and we all bought multiple bottles. The experience was beautiful and we cannot recommend Vinhas De Nexe enough for anyone visiting Portugal who enjoys wine and helping support local businesses. We cannot wait to return and wish Monica and her family the best of luck with everything they do.

We had a wonderful experience visiting this charming boutique vineyard. Monica was absolutely fantastic – her warm hospitality, personal story, and passion for the vineyard made the visit truly memorable. The wines were excellent, with the red reserve being our favourite; we even ordered a few extra glasses afterwards as it was simply outstanding. As it happened to be a bank holiday, we had the entire place to ourselves, which made the experience even more special. I booked the visit as a birthday surprise for my partner, and Monica went above and beyond by presenting her with a thoughtful gift at the end of the tour – a lovely personal touch that meant a lot. The location is very convenient, only a 10–15 minute Uber ride away (around £7), making it easy to reach. If you are looking for an intimate and authentic vineyard experience, I would highly recommend this place.

We absolutely loved this young, rapidly growing vineyard! Monica is so kind, warm, and attentive, deeply passionate about winemaking alongside her partner. We adored our tour with her—which turned out to be a private tour—we had wonderful conversations, saw the vines, tasted four delicious wines, and visited the animals. Everything is so visually stunning. We'll definitely be back in three to five years to see how things have developed!

Visited Faro for a 4 day visit and after we saw this in the Lonely Planet guide decided that we’d have to try here for wine tasting. Monica was a fantastic host and gave a lovely tour of the vineyard before giving us 4 wines to sample, complete with Tapas and Bread! My partner is a vegetarian, and Monica made sure that she had her own Tapas board so that she neither of us missed out. We were the only ones booked on, the day we visited also which made the experience even more special.! The experience was the highlight of our holiday and this is a must do if you’re a wine lover in the area. Beautiful area, and wonderful wine, thank you so much for a fantastic afternoon and all the best with the wine making!

Excellent space, the connection with nature, the service, good snacks and good wine... All positive ☺️
