Quinta dos Sentidos

We had an amazing experience at the Sentidos tasting yesterday. Both owners and the wine maker were in and out of our tasting and all three of them were a delight to spend time with. They were gracious hosts to our entire group, including our 1 year old son. It’s clear this vineyard is a passion project for these three and they love sharing it with others. The wines were also super unique and we thoroughly enjoyed all five that we tasted. If you’re in the algarve and looking to visit a vineyard, put Sentidos at the top of your list!

Excellent tour through the beautiful vineyard which is very unique with some many different kinds of fruit trees. We did a tasting with tapas which was great. The kids also enjoyed it and said they wanted to come back!

Even without reservation, we did a fast tasting (Do not do like us) Amazingly kind staff and so lovely owners. The wine? Another level! Unfortunately we could buy only one bottle because of the luggage

We were very well looked after and tasted excellent wines. We sampled three white wines and three red wines, all exceptional. Mr. Beat told us the history of the estate and meticulously explained the wine production process. I will have to return soon to pick up some bottles.

After 2 km on a winding road through plantations we arrived at a high-lying farm. Met by the owner, a woman from Denmark. The farm is currently in a hectic period so if you want a proper tour with tasting you should book it. Really good wines and a lot of information about the background. Very good knowledge of the English language.

We visited on March 19, 2025, and had an amazing time! The tour covered the vineyard, citrus and flower gardens, and even let us pick fresh oranges and pomelo. Our guide, Alice, was passionate and knowledgeable, making the experience even better. We also met the owners who were very friendly and welcoming. The wine and olive oil tasting was fantastic—5 (or was it more?) delicious wines (generous pouring), three olive oils, and a beautiful cheese and charcuterie board. Plus, they have two adorable dogs that we got to pet! Highly recommend. 💛

A wonderful visit! It's truly worthwhile to visit this small vineyard that focuses on quality in everything. We were charmed by the beauty of the place and by the explanations given throughout the tour, culminating in a very enjoyable wine tasting. Well done!

Highly recommended!!!! Beat gave us a very detailed tour of the winemaking process. The estate is a dream. All the wines we tasted were excellent. We also got to sample olive oil and verjua. The afternoon couldn't have been better. Thank you so much!

We are happy to have been able to taste the wine of this winemaker whose goal is to create good wine and they have succeeded wonderfully. A vineyard we fell in love with and the wine is marvelous; if you are looking for a vineyard to visit and are a wine lover, this is the place for you.

Had a great time with the owner - Beat. Lovely property with so many species of plants, flowers, and fruits. The olives weren't in season when we were there, but we got to see how olive oil is made. We also got to sample the various wines and olive oils made on the property. Very informative and fun tour!

A wonderful encounter with the owner. The history of this vineyard makes their wines and olive oils all the more enjoyable. Touring the fruit gardens, olive groves, flower gardens, and vineyards is a delight. These are passionate and meticulous people in everything they do. I highly recommend the tour followed by the tasting.

We arrived without an appointment, received a warm welcome, and learned a lot about the olive grove. Thank you for taking the time! Oh, and all the bottles survived the flight safely.

A truly top-notch winery! After several hours exploring the grounds, the cellar, and enjoying a wine tasting, I'd venture to say I don't know of any other winery in the Algarve that meets this standard. Every single step, every process, is optimized. Within just a few years, the owners, who were previously wine enthusiasts, have acquired a level of expertise that leaves me speechless. They personally carry out every step of the process. They came from Switzerland and Denmark, and I think I can safely say they are doing this land a complete justice. Their goal was to create an exceptional wine, and with the help of a very small team, they have succeeded. This winery isn't a traditional estate, and these young winemakers (around 65 years old) clearly love what they do. The result is an extraordinary wine. I take my hat off to them!

The estate and winery are simply stunning. The hosts deserve congratulations for all the hard work and dedication they've put into the project. And it's truly fascinating and breathtaking all the work and commitment they put into achieving their excellent products, in this case, wines and olive oils. I highly recommend a visit to the estate and the purchase of their products.
