The Pierini and Brugi Organic Farm

The family-run Pierini and Brugi Organic Farm is made up of two farms: Podere Belvedere located in the municipality of Campagnatico (where the Belvedere farmhouse is located) and Podere Poggiolombardo in Scansano, for a total area of ​​about 100 hectares. Both are located on the top of two panoramic hills with altitudes ranging from 300 to 500 meters above sea level, in two of the wildest and most evocative places of the Tuscan Maremma.

Vines and Olives at the Winery

Our crops are in the heart of the Montecucco DOC / DOCG and in the Morellino di Scansano DOCG, in areas geographically suited to the cultivation of vines and olives. The company has about 4 hectares of vineyards where it produces 5 types of organic wine (Montecucco DOC red reserve "Sugherettaio", Montecucco DOCG Sangiovese "Ginepraio", Montecucco DOC vermentino "Lillatrino", Montecucco DOC red "Albatreto" and in bag in box 5 Lt Tuscan IGT Red "Stracciabracaio"), Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil "Lulivetaccio", Saffron in pure organic stigmas, White Grappa and Riserva, Jams, Organic Pearled Spelled, Organic Chilli and natural soap. Most of the products have the Organic Certification issued by Q Certificazioni srl.

Fantastic location, very friendly staff and excellent quality food. I'll tell you about an episode that happened to me about a month ago. For the third year I went there to attend a concert with subsequent dinner. Unfortunately we suddenly had to leave the structure due to some very serious news concerning a member of our group. We were therefore only able to attend the beautiful concert scheduled. The owner of the farm reached us and wanted to refund half of the price previously paid. We were surprised because it is a gesture that not everyone would have had the sensitivity to implement and this denotes attention and fairness towards customers not always found in other structures. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
